Once in awhile I'll think or say something that feels worthy of writing down. Words can not convey insight, but they try.
There is no original thought - only original expression.
Being awake is a conscious choice.
We lose whatever we identify with. God wants us only to identify with spirit.
Prayer is the effort to align ourselves with the truth.
Life confirms whatever we suspected all along.
Thinking prevents me from falling
asleep and from being awake.
While we are making plans, destiny is laughing.
The most difficult thing about life is how long it takes to recognize who
we have been all along.
With inner peace we reflect outer harmony.
God is yourself, expecting you at any moment.
Want, wait, anticipate and plan; ungoverned, reality comes when it can.
When it seems impossible to let go, just
don't hang on.
When humans laugh, angels are tickled.
Wanting to be there, we are not here; yet being here, is the only way to get anywhere.
Happiness is wanting what you have.
Being a good judge of character comes from being a good character.
To "Expect a Miracle" is limited thinking: life is a continuous
miracle.
We don't get defensive when there is nothing to defend.
What life gives you, life can instantly take away. What you give back can
last forever.
Pay close attention to the beginning of a relationship. What you find will
continue to be there.
Giving and receiving are interdependent
The best thing I can give you is an experience of yourself.
Every addiction is based in the complusion to aviod what is.
There are two types of friends; those who talk about getting together and
those who do.
The greatest loss is a soul unexpressed.
If we make it so, it is.
Knowledge + passion + presence = power.
For every action there is a justification.
When a civilization perpetuates the mediocrity of the soul, God is busy
planning its collapse.
I think I want to remember the past like it was yesterday until I realize
that I can't remember yesterday.
Judgments of others do not come from information, rather from a lack
of it.
Ritual is the act of empowering a moment.
Let us not focus on you or me. Let us attend to what is between us.
Hell has been my greatest teacher.
You will know me by how I respond to what and whom come before me.
Religion is something you do. Spirituality is something that you are.
Given time, an open heart and mind, everyone becomes a friend.
You can't rehearse authenticity.
The problem is not a lack of self esteem; only a lack of Self.
Religion can be a cheap substitute for consciousness.
The wound is the medicine.
To measure intelligence through our intellect is ignorance.
Darkness modivates the return to light.
Things go fast when they are over.
Every time we judge another we are rejecting a part of ourselves.
Time disappears in the face of love.
Compassion is born from suffering.
Anything to avoid the moment.
All forms are interpreters of spirit.
The more we fill ourselves up; the greater the importance of getting empty.
Who am I? An ever changing mass of molecules free floating in infinite space.
Life is an experiment in which we are both the scientist and the subject.
Whatever man pursues; in the final analysis he will bow to the mystery and
miracle of God.
The beginning of love is at the end of resistance.
